Assemblies
During the week, children have assemblies in different settings. On Monday the whole school meet together in the KS2 hall. From Tuesday onwards KS1 and KS2 have separate assemblies. On Friday the children have separate celebration assemblies to share their achievements from the week.
On occasion, visitors from the community or persons from different religious faiths and denominations come and share assemblies with the children.
We use assemblies as an opportunity to explore our school and British values, moral issues and choices, and religious festivals.
Assemblies are an important platform that we use to inspire our children to reach their full potential. They are fantastic times where we all come together!
In our Friday assemblies we always celebrate attendance. As well as awarding the attendance cups to the winning classes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, we also play chosen songs of those classes. These songs are played at the end of the assembly. As you can see by the list below, we have some great tunes for 2024-25!
