Archery
Last Friday four Year 5 and 6 children took part in an Archery tournament at Alleyn Court. They had been to Belchamps for some practice sessions along with Greenways and had really enjoyed trying something new. The tournament itself was difficult, with many competitors owning their own equipment, as some schools had run morning clubs. The children did perform well with a couple scoring ten points by hitting the bullseye and were a creditable 4th in the standings. The children all enjoyed the experience and loved trying something a bit different that not everyone at Friars gets to do.
