RNLI Assembly

On Monday, we were joined in assembly by Linda and Alan from the RNLI to tell us about the good work which they do to keep people safe at sea and to give us tips about how we can stay safe at the beach.

We learnt about the different types of sea rescue boat based in Southend and the meaning of the different flags which we might see at the beach. We were also reminded about the dangers of walking out on the mud at low tide. It is very important to go out with the tide and come back before it starts to come in.
