KS1 Celebration Assembly

Today’s celebration assembly saw a fantastic number of children achieving keyword certificates. We gave out over 30 awards, proving that Friars children work hard to improve throughout the whole term.

Congratulations to Charlie, Claudia and Harriet for earning their penguin awards for learning all of their keywords.

Well done to the children achieving achievement leaves for hard work, great attitude, improvements to their work and for great teamwork to produce good results.

Our buddy awards this week saw nominations for being kind, being a friend when they felt lonely, helping a friend with work and for being polite and helpful.

We had a lot more rainbow readers this week! An extra special well don’t to Zayne for earning his platinum award. Don’t forget to read over the Easter holidays and challenge yourself to achieve your next award!

As it was the end of term, we also gave out special certificates to the children who have impressed their teachers the most over the whole term. Congratulations to Daisy, Brooke, Claudia and Isabelle for achieving these awards.

There was an ‘eggstra’ special treat at the end of our assembly as we found out the winners of our Easter raffle. Thank you for supporting this event so generously and congratulations to all of our winners.

2RS won the attendance cup with 96.3% Stormont won the team cup this week and also won an extra playtime for being the highest scoring team this term.
