KS2 Borough Sports

This week Friars KS2 Athletics Team were at the Borough Sports at Garon Park. The Team competed in field events including long jump and shot put and track events that included 600m and relay races, to name just a few. The team competed to an outstanding standard, due to their hard work over the past few months. Many of our athletes have been training several times a week to reach a high standard this year and we are pleased to announce that the team brought back many medals and 3 trophies this year. Team Friars achieved 1st place in the field events, 2nd place in the field events and 2nd place overall. I would like to say how very proud we are of all your hard work for this event. Well done to you all.
