KS1 Celebration Assembly

This morning we saw a good number of children still receiving their key word certificates, proving that Friars children never give up!

A special mention goes to Taylor, who received his penguin word certificate and now knows all of his Key Stage 1 key words. Well done!

Congratulations to all of our leaf winners! Leaves were awarded by the teachers for great independent work, challenging themselves in maths, overcoming challenges to get great results and for listening to advice to produce amazing writing!

Our Buddy winners were nominated by their class mates for being helpful and kind when somebody else need help or comfort. Thank you for being good buddies to others!

We still have children striving to reach the end of the Rainbow reading rainbow by reading lots at home! Congratulations to all those receiving certificates and particularly Leilu, Gracie and Skye who have received their platinum awards for reaching the end of the rainbow.

There are still 4 weeks of term left for you to earn as many Rainbow reading stickers as you can, if you read twice a day every day until the end of term, that could earn you 56 extra ticks so…… keep reading!!!
