Gemma's Farm

Reception children had a wonderful end of year experience when Gemma’s Farm came to visit Friars. We were all amazed with how many animals there were. Farmer Gemma, along with her assistant Holly quickly engaged the children with facts and information about the animals. Some children enjoyed taking the pony for a walk, others were able to bottle feed the lambs whilst some bravely held ducks, chickens, mice and chicks. All children and staff had a thoroughly enjoyable and educational day which provided the stimulus for many further activities.
