The Mini Games Festival

Team Friars were at Eastwood Academy for the final sporting event of the calendar year, The Mini Games Festival. The children participated in an inclusive event participating in activities based around sports that include athletics, football, tennis, dodgeball plus many others. All the schools attending where encouraged to work on the School Games Values of ‘Team Work’, ‘Honesty’, ‘Passion’, ‘Determination’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Self Belief’. Friars children have been looking at these values this year and were chosen by Eastwood Academy Young Leaders as a School who displayed these values throughout this event. Well done to the team, you are all amazing young athletes and role models.
