Celebration Assembly 24th January 2025

KS1

This week in our KS1 assembly, certificates were given for:

• brilliant reading

• effort with writing

• writing numbers

• concentrating especially in English

• great use of word banks

• improved presentation

• using pastels to create a beautiful background

Buddy Awards were given to Lilia, Amelia, Lily and Ava.

KS2 

This week in our KS2 assembly, certificates were given for reasons including:

• excellent effort

• maths work relating to ratio

• super work with the Year 6 Cake Sale

• improvements in handwriting

• fantastic writing

Attendance

Attendance dipped this week unfortunately, resulting in only one class achieving above 97%. Well done to 5SW who won attendance in Key Stage 2 and received a sticker for the Spin the Wheel chart. 

In Key Stage 1 it was another win for Starlings!

Team Points

This week saw a double-win for our blue team – Stirling! Winners in both Key Stage 1 and 2. With Windsor scoring 10 points fewer than Stirling it does mean that the gap has closed significantly. Caernarfon’s second place overall means they edge closer too. Looking ahead to next week, it looks a certainty that Windsor and Sterling will break the 500-point barrier. The question is… who will be in first? Will it continue to be the reds or will the blues replace them at the top?
