Celebration Assembly 7th February 2025

KS1

This week in our KS1 assembly, certificates were given for the following reasons: 

• great listening during lessons

• great focus 

• using resources well

• writing so much more!

• suggesting ideas for sentences in letter writing

• completing a maths challenge

• showing perseverance in writing sentences independently

• having supper letter structure

Buddy Awards were given to Ava, Cali-Rose, Zoe, Nina.

KS2 

This week in our KS2 assembly, certificates were given for lots of great reasons including hard work, perseverance and work with rap poetry!

Attendance

A lower week with our attendance figures and sadly no classes achieving above 97%. Come on Friars… let’s end the half-term with lots of attendance success next week. 

This week’s winners were once again Starlings in Key Stage 1 and 3B in Key Stage 2. These two classes are certainly showing the way with their strong attendance this academic year.

Team Points

The penultimate week of Spring 1 sees no change in the order of our teams, however Stormont, Stirling and Caernarfon have all closed the gap to out leaders Windsor. Caernarfon won in Key Stage 1 and Stirling took the honours in Key Stage 2. The margin at the top is now down to single figures as only 5 points separate the reds and the blues. With only five days left until half term, could Stirling be in pole position going into the holiday? We will see next Friday…!
