IOW Day 3

Today has been a little wet! The forecasted rain finally came in this afternoon but it hasn’t dampened our spirits!

This morning we were at the Havenstreet Railway. We enjoyed an hour journey on the steam railway before watching a film about the history of the railway on the island. We then had a walk around the site with our guide, John. We learnt lots! Just before lunch we even managed to squeeze in a bird of prey display.

Godshill Miniature Village was our destination this afternoon. What an amazing place! The buildings, people and other features were so realistic and well-made. We liked being giants for a couple of hours.

Tonight we will be keeping a close eye on the weather. If it’s okay we’ll be on the beach but if not we will make the most of our time inside.
