Year 3 trip to Colchester Castle

To support our learning of the Romans this year, our Year 3 children visited Colchester Castle. With photo challenges and quizzes to complete, the children explored the museum in groups and were able to try on Roman armour and shields, experience life in a Roman home and steer a chariot too. Pupils were able to build a roundhouse and villa, with some children even visiting the castle vaults!
