Vacancy Position 

Learning Support Assistant

Location 

Friars Primary School & Nursery, Constable Way, Shoeburyness, Essex SS3 9XX 

Salary 

Salary Range: Level 4, Points 4 to 7 £21,189 to £22,369 pro rata (£15,776 - £16,655 per year

actual salary) 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm (with 30 mins unpaid lunch break), totalling 32 hours and 30 minutes a week, term time only.

About the Role 

Come and join the lively and dedicated team at our popular school. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic LSA with experience of working with children in a school setting – ideally as an LSA. Initially, you are likely to be working in Key Stage 2, therefore experience in this key stage would be preferred. We offer an extremely supportive community and a full range of professional development opportunities. Our children deserve the best, so if you are passionate about supporting our staff and children with our high expectations then we would love to hear from you. 

 

The successful candidate will need to: 

  • be passionate about learning 

  • possess school-based experience of working with children 

  • be passionate and keen to work with children 

  • excite and inspire our children 

  • promote high standards and challenge 

  • work as a flexible member of a team 

  • display energy, imagination and initiative 

  • manage the physical demands of a busy role working with active children
